Inspiration Dispatch #4
Dream Work Wednesday 07/16/25
I hope you’re hungry, because we’ve just cooked up another pile of Dreamy work for your senses to feast upon.
Common to popular perception, creativity is not just outputs - the process of “making”. Creativity is ALSO the process of inputs - what you “take in”. Without both sides of this equation being properly facilitated, stagnancy takes over and your soul starts to die. Yuck.
Think gardening - it’s not just the part where the plants grow, it’s also where you pick your plot, how you prep the soil, and the degree of attention you give to the plants as they naturally expand into the space.
“The choice we make of how we dispose our consciousness is the ultimate creative act: attention renders the world what it is. It is, therefore, a moral act: it has consequences.”
~ Iain McGilchrist
Let’s give our attention to some worthy work, and see what it reveals in us moving forward. If you value excellent creative work, you can get this magic delivered straight to your inbox for free every Wednesday.
To submit a project (yours or otherwise) for consideration, email: dreamwork@challengermediahouse.com
This week I’m gonna talk less about my perspective, and let the pieces speak for themselves. I’d love to hear your reflections in the comments, or my IG DMs!
